The awards were held on 12th March 2018 and the Trestle Community Inclusion Groups become a finalist in the awards for their choir.

Two service users from Harpenden Mencap attend the group weekly. Emily, an organiser of the group had this to say-

they "are highly valued members of the Choir and their support workers are always so engaged; they have shown such commitment by coming to our performances outside of Trestle and ensuring that {our service users} get the opportunities they wish for performing and sharing important moments in their lives with the whole group. We hope to see this lovely relationship between Trestle and Mencap develop and thrive".
